Long term storage is an excellent service for students who want to secure their belongings for
more than the summer. Long term storage is a combination of summer storage plus short term
storage. This is a great choice for:
The cost of long term storage is $245 for the summer through August 31. After that there is a
base charge of $90 and a variable fee of $0.75/day per box. (Prices are based on our standard
20"x20"x20" box. Larger boxes will cost more.)

Your storage will be returned whenever you want after August 31! Call us 48
hours in advance and we will make arrangement to deliver your storage to the
location of your choice. Off-campus delivery charges may apply.
If you are not returning to Maryland we can ship your boxes to you with our
UPS shipping service.
You do not need to pre-arrange for Long Term Storage, but you must inform us
before August 31 that you wish to keep your items in storage for a longer period
of time.
Tuesday May 20 is the last day UMD students can store, but there are
substantial savings for signing up early.
